Americanism

Chair:  Judi Biederman

  • Attend and support a local naturalization ceremony

  • Volunteer at local immigration and naturalization office

  • Volunteer to help with local citizenship classes

  • Find recipients for either medal

Service to Veterans

Chairs:  Kelly Gresh, Erin Gresh and Jennifer Wise

  • Head the nomination of someone for an award

  • Provide service by volunteering at a Veterans Affairs Medical Center, state-sponsored veterans facility, outpatient facility or nursing home

  • Support for stand-downs and other homeless shelters for veterans

  • Sew items needed by veterans' facilities, make favors, write cards

  • Volunteer to record a veterans for the Veterans History Project

Project Patriot

  • Send care packages to relatives of chapter members in the military

  • Support local Reserve/National Guard units and their families

  • Organize a clothing drive for Landstuhl

  • Contact the Committee NVC for Warrior and Family Support Center, Walter Reed, Camp Atterbury, Camp Pendleton

  • Lead your chapter in a Thank You card writing campaign

  • Organize a baby shower for the family of an active military duty member
